The popular website Funny or Die has just announced it’s first ever comedy festival, “Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival”, which certainly does headline a couple of oddballs—Dave Chappelle and New Zealand folk duo Flight of the Conchords, which includes funny men Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement.

Both headliners have been a little out-of-the-loop, though, Chappelle more than the Conchords. Chappelle has not done anything big since his documentary Dave Chappelle’s Bloc Party, which came out in 2004, and his abrupt leave from The Chappelle Show in 2005. The Conchords did recently go on a reunion tour around solely New Zealand in 2012, but as for anything new there has not been much word, except for rumors about the duo trying to create a story that they hope will eventually lead to a movie on the big screen, but nothing too official.

But what is so special about this festival is that—for Funny or Die’s first ever try at a comedy festival—it's loaded with other comedians that will help assist the headliners with bringing in the laughs and…oh, wait…there’s one more thing…it’s all going to be held on two separate stages!

Funny or Die is really not messing around with this one. They want to be known as not only a source for hilarity online, but also a provider of live comedy across America…and we are completely okay with them going all out like they are. You will most likely be familiar with the supporting cast, which includes the following comedians: Al Madrigal; Demetri Martin; Kristen Schaal (from Flight of the Conchords); Hannibal Buress; Chris D’Elia; Jim Jefferies; Brody Stevens; John Mulaney; and there will be others named in the coming weeks.

As for the "Curiosity" aspect of the festival, Oddball promises, "psychics, freaks, tasty treats, booze, and more". You can check out the tour dates below or on the website here. Also, be sure to look back here for updates on comedians being added to the list and check out the goofy promotional video for the festival below!
